I have a friend who is a young lung cancer (non-smoker) patient living with a reoccurrence for 9 years. She has received some miraculous news from MD Anderson: with a lung resection they can cure her. Thank God for the many health care providers out there developing new treatments. Thank God for the many cancer patients that have gone before us and participated in clinical trials. We are standing on the shoulders of giants.
